5 ways small business can work towards a greener planet...

We are all very aware of the environmental changes to our world, and we need to start making greener choices in our day to day life.

Here is how you can make a difference as a small business owner:

- Turn off any equipment that you aren't using, yes, that means at the plug! Everyone is guilty of leaving their laptop and phone chargers plugged in 24/7, but we could start making a real difference if we simply turn them off when we aren't charging.

- Use Eco-Friendly cleaning equipment & Re-Usable cloths.

- Have you looked at a different source of energy for your office? Hydro, Wind, Solar?

- Recycle! There can't be anyone that isn't recycling paper & card, but what about everything else? Make it really easy for your staff and have separate bins for everything. It might also encourage everyone to do it at home too.
